◆ The oxygen gate valve is made of stainless steel, brass and Monel. The oxygen gate valve needs to be degreased and oil-free. It has good flame retardancy, good electrical conductivity, fast heat transfer, compact structure, oil resistance, safety and reliability. With the development of the metallurgical industry , Used in steel, metallurgy, medicine, chemical and other industries, mainly used to cut off or connect the medium in the pipeline.

 

Design Feature+

◆ Standard ASTM G93 or MSS SP138 and guidlines IGC Doc. 33/06, IGC 13-12-E shall be used for valves in oxygen services.

◆ Internal surface should be smooth, without sharp angles and burrs etc.

◆ All parts of valves shall be free from rust, oil and grease.

◆ Non-metal material used in oxygen valve should be oil free and compatible for oxygen service.

◆ Packing shall be keep its contents from penetration of humidity in worst condition and for long time.

◆ Valves for oxygen service should be inspected and tested according to API 598 and ASME B16.34. Besides of that, high pressure gas leakage test is required according to API 598. The relevant reports should be submitted by the Manufacturer. And there should not be any oil.

◆ During visual examination, inner surface shall not be smeary to oil or hydrocarbons.

◆ Cleaning procedure indicating sequence of cleaning, assembly, testing, cleanliness check method should be provided in Vendor's proposal.

◆ All wetted parts shall meet the following requirements:

A. Hydrocarbon content less than 500 mg/m² (free from unintended organics)

B. No accumulation of foreign particles > 1 mm, total amount less than 100 mg/m²

C. All surfaces dried, no visible droplets of liquids or moisture

D. No organic painting or coating of inner surfaces

E. Free of loose scale or corrosion residual

F. Any cleaning agent which is used shall be completely removed prior to drying the surfaces

◆ The solvent selected for cleaning shall not harm the valve materials.
