High Temperature Butterfly Valve
New lotoke adopts multi-eccentric design and valve cooling design, which can better control the expansion and contraction deformation of high and low temperature. It has the advantages of high temperature resistance, light operation, no friction when opening and closing, improving the sealing performance of the butterfly valve and extending the service life. The Advantages such as
◆ positive circular sealing ring with spherical surface, ariants from high and low temperature. In this case, multi-offset is the best solution to the structure design of butterfly valve for high and low temperature services.
◆ Increase its axial eccentricity (larger diameter of stem), and to reduce its radial eccentricity. Its superior data value is essential for high pressure butterfly valve design.
◆ The reduction of radial eccentricity brings lower opening torque, reduces the abrasion during opening and closing for high pressure butterfly. Making sure the service lift time longer than triple offset butterfly valve.
◆ The point force on the sealing surface is more uniform, and the service life of the sealing surface is longer. It is more suitable for the design of high pressure valves and variable temperature valves (see the figure below).

◆ The valve seat adopts a replaceable valve seat design, and there is no need to replace the valve as a whole during maintenance, reducing production costs

In order to meet high temperature requirements, high temperature butterfly valves must meet the following requirements:
◆ In the design process, the valve body material is also selected from the material specified in the ASME B16134 standard, and the applicable temperature of the material is higher than the maximum temperature of the valve working condition.
◆ Stem material: The valve stem material is selected as lnconel X-750. The stem is extended with a bracket design and heat sinks are added to reduce the impact of heat transfer on the actuator.
◆ Meet Pressure-temperature ratings

◆ High-temperature packing adopts reinforced packing + metal protective pad design to meet packing leakage under high temperature and high pressure.
◆ If the temperature is higher than 900℃, physical cooling should be considered.
◆ High-temperature sealing ring design, based on data analysis and accumulation of high-temperature and normal-temperature cyclic pressure tests, summarize the optimal sealing ring style "Z" design (see the figure below).

◆ Packing design:
(1) The packing gland is equipped with a disc spring, and the disc spring material is nickel-based superalloy INCONEL X-750, which has stable mechanical properties under high temperature and high pressure, which can keep the packing gland in a tight state and avoid variable temperature conditions and pipelines. The packing parts under vibration conditions are loose.
(2) Reinforced packing + metal protective pad design to meet packing leakage under high temperature and high pressure.
◆ Lengthen the stem bracket design and increase the heat sink to reduce the influence of heat transfer on the actuator.
◆ After the valve seat is installed on the valve body with bolts, the bolts are spot welded with electric welding. After the sealing ring is installed on the valve plate with bolts, the bolts are spot welded with electric welding to prevent the bolts from loosening or falling off due to pipeline vibration.
